History
The green dome was raised over his grave in 1274, the year he died. The sema hall and the dervish cells were added by Ottoman sultans in the centuries after.
Today the Masnavi manuscripts, the instruments and the Mevlevi robes are kept in those same cells.
Visiting
Daily 9am to 6pm; Mondays from 10am. Heads are covered inside the mausoleum, for everyone.
